im sorry i haven been blogging for abt a week...
well i think i've been quite thoughtless and sleepy for the past few days. except that last weekend Dr A R Bernard came (he's a big shot!), he is really intellectual and what he says really sets me thinking (ok i noe i just said i was thoughtless). one of the things that really hit me was that u cannot really love without freedom. coz its really not love when the person has no choice but to love u. so there is NO SUCH THING as
falling in love out of love. more than an emotion, love is also a choice. so saying that u fell out of love is equivalent to saying, " i no longer choose to love u". many pple ask since God is all-knowing and He knows that man will sin and choose to walk away from Him, why didn't He just create us automatically to love Him. well, by now it is probably apparent to u, He wants us to
truly love Him.
well, the 3 services over the weekend really stretched my mind. and this holds true: when ur mind gets stretched it will nv get back to its original size. so thank God for His word. it is the key to success. though i may not be successful (apparent in my studies)
now, but i noe that if i keep walking in His ways, i will be one day =)
ok for the past 3 days, ive been staying in school till LATE to study. it's been pretty good, though its not that i absorb a lot, but if i come home i will immediately feel sleepy and temptation is all around. so at least in school i do not feel sleepy. on mon xinni shengyu and i stayed till 9. we, being honourable and typical njcians, almost violently reacted when the librarian announced that the library was to close. well xinni and i did react hesterically when shengyu said some funny stuff on the way home. tues was the ultimate. we spent more than 45 mins looking for lost stuff like a wooden block, xinni's hp and retainers. we ended up studying at the oasis till11. it was nice coz we were the only ones AROUND. though the presence of a flying cockroach was absolutely undesirable (can i reinforce that it is an understatement). today shengyu and i stayed till 730. but abt half the time we were daydreaming abt good food and sashimi. after promos! we took 154 home. [???it seems to me that shengyu lives in a mass of trees coz thats all i could see from the bus from the bus stop} much to my surprise, it only takes abt 30min to get from nj to paya lebar mrt on 154. so from now on i must make a conscious effort to take 154, if not for no reason i will step onto 67 again (unless my frens take 67 that is).
